It was a question on an article i wrote about Christianity and the state it was around 325-1,400years ago where constantine and The Catholic Churches claimed to speak for Jesus and they killed, burnt people alive in the name of Christianity, which later lead to the creation of some separate Christian Group who called themselves The Protestant Churches, and how the False Teachings of the Catholics where later finally exposed when the bible was translated from Latin to German/English then to other Languages, also the article was about muhammad not been a good role model as he had over 15 wives and 4 concubines and why i believe he his the source of what we now call islamic terrorist groups here on earth, but then my beloved friend david kaka responded that if king Solomon from the holy bible had over 700 hundred wives and 300 hundred concubines then why would it be a crime for muhammad to have just 15 wives and 4 concubines, he then went further to claim that Isis And Boko haram are not following the true teachings of Muhammad and Islam Just The way Constantine and the Catholic Churches claimed to be following the commandment of Jesus but then tried to conceal his real commandments by claiming it was an abomination to convert the bible from Latin to other Languages and said it was Compulsory to kill all Disbelievers in Christianity a lie they preserved from the 3rd to 14th century so my beloved friend went on to say Islam says there shall be no Compulsion in Religion,  well  read my response below and find out why i believe Islam has never been like Christianity and why it will never happen, firstly We must differentiate between the doctrinal teachings of a religion and the actions of those who profess to be of that religion. Whoever follows the teachings of Christ and emulates him has to be non-violent for Christ never committed a single violent act. Christian communities changed in the 14th century when the general populace began to understand the true teachings of Christ and emulating his example as written in the New Testament. Even though the Old Testament does have many violent acts mandated by God, the example of Jesus, living a sinless, non-violent, and humble life resonates in all “true” Christians.

The Stupidest thing Muslim Apologists do is to compare the Violent teachings of the Quran to that of the Old Testament well The equation of violent Old Testament verses with violent verses in the Quran is not a valid comparison because the Quran is considered to be dictation taken by Muhammad (via the angel Gabriel) directly from God and is believed by Muslims to be the exact words of God. In Judaism and Christianity the books of the Old Testament are considered inspired by God, but not dictation from God. There is a well established tradition of interpretation of the books of the Old Testament in Judaism and Christianity that relegate violent passages in the Old Testament to being verses reflective of a more primitive era or allegorical stories (Joshua, e.g.) that make a point.

The Quran on the other hand is not considered a story to be interpreted or having an inspired human element involved in it. It’s not the Gospel according to Mathew, etc. It’s God speaking without the human element. It’s dictation. It’s all God speaking. So when God says kill the unbeliever-that’s an order directly from God.

What don’t you understand about a direct order from God? that’s the difference between the Old Testament and the Quran. The violent verses in the Old Testament are not dictation from God, but are coming via inspired (but very fallible) Third Party human source.

Islam—the Islamic ideology as found in the Quran and Hadith—has no hope to reform and will always be reactionary, and violent to women and the unbeliever. It has no hope to reform because to be Islamic is to live a life based on the teachings of what Allah through Mohammad prophesized in the Quran together with an attempt to live like Muhammad as he is portrayed in the Hadith. Muhammad committed horrible acts and took captive females. He constantly railed against the unbeliever and exhorted Muslims to struggle against them until they were subdued. Jesus on the other hand professed love from his inception till the end of Mankind:

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”

That is the difference. To anyone wanting to understand why Christianity became what it became and why Islam is what it is, and will always be, you must look at the founders of both religions. For a pious member of any religion, the penultimate way of being is to be like its founder. If you are a true Muslim and believe in every word in the Quran and Hadith, your God mandates you to Jihad…to struggle against the unbeliever for as the Quran teaches, you are superior to the “people of the book” or any unbeliever. If you understand Islam–if you read the Quran and Hadith–you would know that the person that is emulating Muhammad the most today is Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS. Islam can never change because the Quran can never change and the Hadith is the actual acts and sayings of Muhammad. Therefore, they are set in stone and so is Islam.

So to My beloved friend David kaka it seems you are a very ignorant person… firstly we Christians do not follow ”biblical prophets” but we serve only Jesus and we want to be exactly like him…. Qur’an 2:106 We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth one better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?

Compulsion Is Now Allowed in Islam

Quran 4:89 They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them friends until they emigrate in the way of Allah . But if they turn their backs, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any friend or helper.

Quran 9:5 – And when the SACRED MONTHS have passed, then kill the polytheists(INCLUDING CHRISTIANS WHO BELIEVE THAT GOD IS 3) wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. BUT IF THEY SHOULD REPENT, ESTABLISH (Muslim)PRAYER(Salat), and give ZAKAH, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Quran 9:6 – And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then GRANT HIM PROTECTION SO THAT HE MAY HEAR THE WORD OF ALLAH . Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is BECAUSE THEY ARE PEOPLE WHO DID NOT KNOW.

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THIS VERSES CAN BE INTERPRETED AS FIGHT ONLY IN SELF DEFENSE????

THE SECOND TO LAST REVELATION IN THE QURAN…

Quran 9:29 FIGHT THOSE ((Why???)) WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN ALLAH or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful AND WHO DO NOT ADOPT THE RELIGION OF TRUTH ISLAM from those who were given the Scripture(CHRISTIAN AND JEWS) – FIGHT until they Pay the JIZYAH (Tax Unbelievers Pay In Islam Dominated Countries) WILLING SUBMISSION, and feel themselves SUBDUED.

Then the immediate Next Explains the Historical context….

Quran 9:29 – ((((Fight them because???)))) The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah “; and the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah .” That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them..

Quran 9:39 If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent.


PLEASE CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THESE VERSES CAN BE INTERPRETED AS FIGHT ONLY IN SELF DEFENSE????

IF THIS IS WHAT THIS VERSE MEANS THEN ALLAH IS YET AGAIN THE WORST COMMUNICATOR OF ALL TIME!!! WHY CAN HE NOT BE MORE SPECIFIC???? OR MAYBE HE WAS INDEED SPECIFIC AND YOU PEACEFUL MUSLIMS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO ARE MISGUIDED BECAUSE YOU KEEP CHERRY PICKING THE QURAN AND RE-INTERPRETING IT TO MEAN WHAT YOU WANT!

PLEASE A MUSLIM SHOULD KINDLY EXPLAIN TO ME HOW YOU IDENTIFY WHEN MUHAMMAD IS MAKING AN EVERLASTING COMMANDMENT FOR ALL OF MANKIND TO EMULATE BECAUSE I INITIALLY TAUGHT THAT HAPPENED EVERY TIME ANGEL GABRIEL GAVE HIM REVELATIONS????

IT THEREFORE MAKES NO SENSE THAT THE LAW OF ABROGATION IS APPLIED AND MUSLIMS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRINK ALCOHOL BUT THEN THE PEACEFUL MUSLIMS THEN REJECT THE IDEOLOGY OF APPLYING THE LAW OF ABROGATION TO ENGAGE IN EVANGELICAL JIHAD. ISNT THAT THE HEIGHT OF HYPOCRISY???
