Photos: See How Teachers Purnished Female Students Then Flog Them For Coming Late To School

The below photos have sparked outrage online!  Why would someone strip young women to their underwear in public, just to punish for late-coming?

Here’s what Song wrote on Facebook;

‘Only in Africa will you see this type of nonsense. Student stripped naked and flogged as part of school punishment. I really don’t care what they did but this is totally unacceptable. And it’s so funny why these grown ass students allowed themselves to be punished in this manner.’

According to Cameroonians who shared the photos online, the awful incident took place at a public school in Baham in the Western region of Cameroon recently. Photos below;

    • That is why they end up sleeping with the students becos after seeing all these, you don’t expect them to remain the same

  3. Those teachers are simply sexual psychopaths and voyeurs!!!

  4. You people are talking about the teacher no head personal in thay school.

  5. Too bad and unacceptable

  6. Interesting. This is solving the African problems, the African way.

  7. This is indeed a serious matter.teachers are icons of good reputation and eventually such kind of punishment should be the last in line of option for them to impose discipline…laws should be imposed ..this is indeed a brutal form of humiliation and it could do more harm than good…how about stripping their teachers too once they report late..?.with profound coalition from the student government

  8. such an act is unprofessional as a teacher. I strongly suggest that those teachers involved in such an act should be penalized.

  14. Ayodele Ayinkeade

    It’s total nonsense, such teachers should be reprimanded and prosecuted for infringing on the right of the students

  15. Are u sure dat this is indeed a school’ mehn….. This is highly unethical .

    • Personally I don’t believe it and they’re too grown, they don’t look like students

      • They are students. I have been in Cameroon for four years as a missionary. In the West anything can happen. Our school system and theirs is not the same. Over there you will see big boys and girls going to school in order to write GCE cos there’s nothing like special centers

      • It’s a school. Nigeria and Cameroon is not the same. I have been there for four years

  16. Totally unacceptable, the laws of the land must come in in this issues, irrespective of where the crime took place, Where are the Women right group?, FIDA where are you

  17. There are other things to consider here before giving your sporadic internet judgements. This is Africa, a continent with the most diverse cultural ethics and religious fundamentalities. That internet has giving us all access to easily assess every nuk and crannies of our planet should not make you a rightful judge of those societies, which most of us never had a research on.

    I’m not adjudicating on any side. I’m just trying to opine that it might not be a taboo given what might be a morale at the particular society it happened.

    Do not judge much from the comfort of your confinements, try to travel and learn cultures of different people or simply google or carry out researches on why things happen in a particular area and do not happen in others.

    For instances, just for a general view: non of most African children were not beaten during their childhood/adolescent by our parents; but it’s a taboo in the West and other places. Again, why are naked superstars celebrated in many societies and not in others? Etcetera, etcetera…

    In summary, all I’m suggesting is that we should try to see things out of the box and contempt of the internet, especially when it concerns my beloved Africa. Do you know that this information might be viral because someone somewhere wants to paint you more black.

    Cheers!

  18. That is what we called action without thinking, the school management have no idea on how to run a school business.

  19. From the look of the environment, size and kind of underwear herein, these ladies are not students. They might be prostitutes and those men Probably could be police men in murphty. I believe they might have crossed boundaries of the law.

  20. This is an abuse of human right….. And immoral act of the highest other…. The need to be dismissed from the service and the proper agency protecting girl child should make sure this group of teachers involved in this act.. They should make sure they pay for their immortal act.

  24. Those teachers should be sacked

  25. They dont look like studends to me. They look like prostitutes or a village under attack by rebels

  26. I was reading through hoping to hear an opinion of an informed person, then you did.
    of course, in no way am I in support of this seemingly barbaric act, however we shouldn’t just claim to have all the answers when we’re yet to ask questions.

    speaking of this picture;
    Africa is beautiful, but there are still people whose definition of “civilization” need some adjustments. The fact that we’re privileged to a better society shouldn’t give us the right to paint our continent black.

    And to those making comments;
    If these girls are as civilised as those on your end I’m sure they wouldn’t have obliged. (in fact younger ones here will do nothing like that irrespective of the teacher’s threat)

    We don’t have to be white to be wise. .. Proudly African

  27. Just say YES!!!

  42. -DOND SPEAK EVIL OF NIGERIA-
    Mouth work is worse than weapon of war. Our country is broken down more by damaging words than by physical weapons of criminals. Through the things you say and do, your nation is exalted; it’s dignified! Through your blesin, the nation moves forword and make progress . This means the upright the prigress and and advancement of a nation is dependaents on the upright in that nation- those who have recieved the life and nature . In the realm of the spirit , there’s an established law that what you speak are what you get whether positive or negative. The word you speak are what shpe your future and destiny. In the same way, the words you speak about your country will make or mar the peace, progress and development of that nation . As a muslim/christian, you’re a king. Therefore let the words you speak about Nigeria be words that will shape , build and establish he/her in properity , unity, peace, provress an economic stability.
    Every grrat feat ever achieved by man was the direct resullt of words. The greatest. Wars ever fought and freedoms ever won were the result ofwirds. Word important in infuencing the ciuse and destineis of. Nation. Positive and constructive words of blessin are indispendable in nation-building. Therefore, instead of cimpaining about the nation,and making derogatory remark about the structure, naje yiur mi.d to effect change in your own way.
    Nigeria forwarded as a nation is dependent on you as Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W.)/isah (P.B.U.H) .yo dont need to take up arms to achieve this. All it takes is for you to identify the position of advantage and power tha you occupy as a muslim/christian and begin to talk constructively about Nigeria. Bless the land and it’s peaple.
    Remember, the nation where you live can only move forward and make progress through the prayers anf words of blessngs that proced from your mourth.
