The reticulated python, estimated to be 8metres (26ft) long and 250kg (39st 5lb) in weight, was found on a construction site on Penang island last week and it’s thought to be the longest ever recorded. It died three days later after giving birth.

Sorry it an animal it does not select it prey, its need food to survive in the wide! So don’t equate the animal to human that has morals……Lot of people are commenting with lack of exposure and not knowing the importance of safeguarding God’s wonderful creature….a lot of you claims to believe in God and on the other hand antagonise the death of God’s creature, there are reasons why God created snakes to be part of God’s wider animal world. Anyway if it was kept in secured glass enclosure for people to pay money to view the python feeding live prey, imagine the income this will generate from tourism for the communities and a lot of tourists will pay money to see the world longest living snake! Surely it will be missed!
