Kaduna state APC governorship candidate, Nasir El-Rufai yesterday said the incumbent Governor of theState, Mukhtar Yero of the PDP called him to congratulate him before the official announcement by INEC.This is following in the footsteps of president Jonathan.The collated results at the time showed El-Rufai in the clear lead and is set to become governor of Kaduna state.. He pulled a total of 1, 117, 635 votes to defeat the incumbent governor and PDP candidate, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero who pulled a total of 485 833 votes.
