Nigeria’s Big Brother Africa Hotshots 1st runner-up, Tayo Folarin, has dismissed reports that he was given $350,000 by Nigerian billionaire,

Ayiri Emani, as compensation for losing out to Idris from Tanzania. Tayo who is still in South Africa denied the claims on Radio 1 South Africa. . . He said he was disturbed as the reports were actually sending away those who may want to assist him. According to him, people will see the reports and think he is rich when he is not. He therefore pleaded with fellow Nigerians to stop posting lies about him on the Internet as they were closing help that could come. . . He said he did not even know who the businessman was. Tayo’s case is similar to that of Munya Chidzonga who had been tipped to win by many BBA viewers. He lost to Nigeria’s Uti, who up to today is rumored to be scared of visiting Zimbabwe as he feels people there are still angry over his victory. . . So disappointed were Zimbabweans that they had to open a bank account to try and raise $300,000 to give Chidzonga.
