I had planned to travel abroad soon after my medical school in University of Port Harcourt, an ambition equally
shared by my friends then. However, on the 2nd July 1999, I had an encounter with the Lord and He spoke these words to me in a swift trance:
“Do not travel abroad to go and stay. If you go, my spirit will not go with you. Stay back here (Port-Harcourt) for I have given you this place as your constituency.
I will answer the prayers of many on your head. A time will come, I will bring them from different parts of the world to partake in what I have deposited in you. Go! Save A Life!”
Fascinating it sounds but do you know that this great vision has no voice between 1999 and 2009. The failures, the frustrations and discouragement during this wilderness period remain untold.
However, between 2010 and 2015, the same God that spoke, gave the vision flesh and today it dwells among us with a voice; Save A Life Mission… see the pictures 17 years after. Today both whites and blacks from different continents visit Port Harcourt to see the manifestation of God’s faithfulness.
Friend, I wept throughout last night while recalling God’s faithfulness towards His words. When all hopes appeared to have gone, this scripture stood by me:
God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent. Has He said; shall he not do it? Or has He spoken, shall He not make it good?
(Num. 23:19)
Truly, in tears this morning I said; God is ever faithful. In the midst of trials, never lose your Faith in God. If the vision delays wait for it, GOD IS NEVER LATE! Encourage yourself and your friends. Very soon yours will be shared!
