RnB singer, R. Kelly has publicly responded to reports that his daughter, Jaya, is now a transgender boy. The R&B singer slammed
the idea, telling a reporter not to refer to “her” as “my son.”.
His transgender son, now called Jay, 13 bravely came out as a transgender teen on social media, and has since received an enormous amount of online support from his mom, Drea Kelly.
When asked about Jay’s transformation, R. Kelly told WGCI:
“You don’t really wanna open it up by saying my daughter is becoming my son, because if that were true… Don’t even give the blogs that kind of credit. You know what I’m saying? Real talk.”
