President Buhari’s son, Yusuf, has returned to Nigeria after undergoing further treatment for the head injuries he sustained in a motorbike accident he was involved in last December.
Yusuf, according to Thisday, returned to Nigeria yesterday February 26. Yusuf had broken a limb and sustained an injury to the head in an accident when himself and his friend were having a motorbike race in Abuja. He was rushed to the Cedarcrest hospital in Abuja where he had undergone a surgery at a clinic in Abuja. He as later transferred to Germany for further medical attention.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s only son, Yusuf, returned to the country on Monday after undergoing further treatment overseas.
This Day reports that Yusuf is in a better shape now and is expected to resume his normal life.
When contacted about the president’s son’s return, Buhari’s Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, declined to comment on the issue.
“The boy has a right to his private life. We can’t be talking about him and his movement,” he said.
Just last week, Buhari’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, reacted to reports claiming that Yusuf was dead.
On her Twitter page, she wrote: “The news making the rounds regarding Yusuf Buhari, son of Pres. Buhari & Aisha Buhari, is Fake.
“He is very alive, to their shame.”
Recall that Yusuf suffered brain injury after he was involved in a bike accident on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 .
It is believed he was flown out to Germany to continue his treatment, after undergoing successful emergency surgery at the Cedarcrest Hospitals in Abuja.
