Mohammed, Adamu Karumi and Ibrahim Usman were pronounced guilty of offence bordering on conspiracy to commit terrorism, illegal possession of firearms, and being members of a proscribed organisation.
According to the Sun,Justice Buba had earlier granted an application that the trial should be conducted in secret following an application brought by the prosecution to protect the witnesses. It was gathered that the convicts were found guilty on three of the 18-count charge brought against them.
Initially, 17 suspects were charged to court but were later reduced to four following the withdrawal of the case against the suspects, leaving only four.
