Asari Dokubo Issues Fresh Threat Says Yoruba And Hausa United Against Biafra And Niger Delta

asari10

Mujahid Asari Dokubo, an ex-militant who threatened to unleash violence on the country if President Goodluck Jonathan lost his re-election bid, has threatened a return “to the creeks” and accused the Yoruba and Hausa of working against
Igbo and Niger Deltans.

He denied saying he was in support of any government in power, despite a tweet on his handle, @asaridokubo (Read Here) , on Tuesday. He did not disown the handle but said he was yet to congratulate any winner of the presidential and parliamentary elections.

He said the election of Muhammadu Buhari as president “is a clear indication that the country is not united” and accused the Yoruba and Hausa of collaborating to frustrate Jonathan, who hails from the Niger Delta region.

“Nigerian union clearly reinforces the fact of self determination and that Nigeria remains a very divided and separated entity whose claim to unity remains a fraud of gargantuan proportion,”

Dokubo said in a statement issued on his behalf by Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro, his spokesman. “The celebrated victory of Buhari is not the victory of the people but victory of regional conspiracy and supremacy.

The voting Partern has clearly shown that the Gambari North and the Yorubas are United in the conquest of the Niger Deltans and the Igbos
of defunct Biafra with the middle belt now used as pawns. “The victory of Muhammadu Buhari is a historical reminder that we are a conquered people who are mere appendages existing at the pleasure of the supremacist and the regional overlords.

“We remain a people separated by our ideologies and interests, we are not integrated nor reconciled.” He alleged that the incoming government could attempt to undermine the interest of the Niger Delta and called for a return to the creeks.

“The conditions that advanced the need to embracethe creeks have been sadly re energized, it is clear that a vicious government who may maim and murder the voice of the so called minorities may have just been birthed,” he said.

“Indeed integration is nonexistent as regional gang ups and supremacy is symbolic with this victory.
“While President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan enjoys his moments and bask in the euphoria of a now world renowned statesman having congratulated Muhammadu Buhari his conqueror, we must quickly remind that our struggle was never about Jonathan nor about presidency.

“President Goodluck Jonathan was an establishment beneficiary of our struggle, our sweat and blood that many bled and died for, he was
never in the struggle and he can never wish away our collective march forward for statesmanship.

Yes Indeed to an extent he was a mitigating factor in self determination pursuit as we went on sabbatical, this mitigation he seem to have
willingly repudiated.

“The days coming will be critical, we shall study all the conditions and consult widely before determining the way going forward for our collective existence and survival as a people. The days coming shall either drive the quest of integration or
further separate us.”

  6. I am personally irritated by the unwarranted and shameless outburst of the so-called Oba of Lagos mandating Igbos resident in Lagos to vote for his candidate from APC or all of them will perish in the lagoon. What an impunity!! What gave him such guts? Its really uncalled for.But come to think of it,are the traditional rulers not meant to be non partisan? Or is it part of the change we are yearning for, allowing traditional rulers to delve into politics openly and shamelessly?I cry for my Igbo nation. So it has really come to this level where other tribes now look down upon us with contempt? Why do other tribes hate us this way? His Secretary even had to refute the claims when the news went viral on social media but here is the raw video. We can’t be deceived.Go on and do what you like,we are waiting but one candid advice to the Oba,do not start what you will not finish.Igbos should not be taken for granted.Arrant nonsense!! And the so-called Ezes Ndi Igbo were there clapping for him. What right has Oba to decide whom the Igbos will vote for? I wish Ambode will be defeated and lets see how he will make his threats come true.Rubbish!!!

  7. War is not a good thing that can be prayed for, one will loss several family members of his family and love ones but the political will fly out of the country with their family members after the war they will come and be your leader. Do we want to be fool forever? Please let’s face our work and stop shouting war.

  8. You see their is no need to call for separation, you need not be deceived that you have oil, the people of South Sudan were deceived like this to separate from the North and now they are suffering for it, war and violence everyday in the newest country of the world.

I don’t what wrongs with you Igbo and your allied. You have been saying that you been merginallised, you have got the chance of making things good for country if not your region, but nothing have been done. Rather stay aside claiming for marginalisation. My brothers sisters in Niger Delta and that of Indigbo, I think it is time by now for you to learn from your last mistake your people had made 50 years back. Don’t you remember or been told about the tragedy befalling in you? I know you have suffered during the civil war, what/who the course of the then calamities? If you that are able or oppotuned of been alive now. Don’t know the real scene of the drama, why can’t you face the reality and out, what really the courses of all the calamities? Do you the populated number of your peolle in the north or any other part of country? If you know you manage yourselves properly, deploy your people from very part of the country. As concluding these, you have shown that you are of handling or governing yourselves. and finally, and conclusively, I’m suggesting two things for you. 1- withdraw your from the Yoruba and all northern buildings and build your own either in the or your area.
2- Stop accommodating any good’s from the two parts of the country..
By doing these, I’m saying, Long Live Biafra.

  19. shuaibu. I. shuaibu

honestly I’m not happy with what is happening currently in Niger delta area. I’m not behind the terrorists but the truth is that Nigerian government Suppose to look after their needs for them to survive.their land become infertile, their water has been disturbed, they don’t have a good road in short they lost all social amenity. people have to be think about it. those people are suffering a lot. didn’t see what ex-president late umar musa yar’adua did to us and he start achieving his goal due reconciliation system. so now why Nigerian government doesn’t follow the same way as yaradua did. this blood shed must be stop and Nigerian government must listen to those people of ours because we are all Nigerian. may God help my country to unite.
