I am a Christian born again. But there is one error those of us who call ourselves Christian do with the Muslims. I discovered we are always to quick to be at the offensive when at a religious conversation with a Muslim. Even the so called educated ones among us. That is absolutely wrong. We as Christians are admonished to have the fruit of the spirit of God which are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. Galatians 5 v 22-23.
We see that meekness and temperance is mentioned. It means that a mark of a Christian must include, self-control and… Many of us don’t have that. When a during a religious conversation with a Muslim, there is bound to be such statements or questions that can grief one. Such statements as “God cannot have a son, Christians believe in three gods, even though you try to explain its one God, etc”. Although it griefs, we are admonished not to return foolish comments, like what some of us are saying here. Such statements as “Islam is a false religion, Mohammed is a false prophet, etc”.if you try to explain Christianity, do it in the simplest form, considering the state of your audience. You don’t need to argue in preposterous manna.
