Embattled former petroleum minister, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke has appealed to Nigerians to pray for her to survive the surgical operation that she is billed to have next week.
The beautiful ex-minister, who had been reportedly diagnosed with cancer and has been scheduled to undergo a surgical operation to correct the anomaly next week, says she needs to come out strong to face the allegations against her.
This is coming after series of jaw-dropping revelations about her alleged shady deals where she was first arrested by the UK National Crime Agency over corruption allegations, she was also allegedly caught with about £13 billion, before reports emerged that she cannot leave London until she answers to all the allegations leveled against her.
From her sick bed now, she wants Nigerians to pray for her as she undergoes cancer surgery next week as she hopes to come out strong to face the allegations weighing down her shoulder.
The family lawyer, Oscar Onwudiwe, denied reports of her arrest, insisting that she was undergoing cancer treatment in the UK and “hopes to come out strong to face all the allegations.”
According to The Cable, Onwudike said: “The Madueke family, like most other families, has its own challenges. For instance, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke has been receiving treatment for cancer in the UK which started while she was in office.
“She completed months of chemotherapy just last week and she is scheduled to undergo surgery next week in London.
“The family has been bearing this challenge with prayers and as much grace and fortitude as possible; and would plead with all reasonable Nigerians to pray for her recovery so that she can face these allegations and give account of her stewardship.”
Nigerians have since expressed sarcasm over the plight of the former minister, saying that she has to survive her present ailment and return to face the charges brought against her with a view to proving her innocence or serve the punishment which her sins deserve.

Ask God for forgiveness and when you are out of the Hospital, you do restitution by returning everything that was stolen or wrongly acquired while you were serving your country. Hmm! Such is Life! Both Elders’n’ Youth are suffering even the unborn ones are still partaking in the suffering. Do you think you can eat your cake ‘n’ have it? No way! When you are busy looting our money you did not ask for Prayers! Well! I pray you survive this Operation, on 1Condition you have to refund the Nigerians stollen money ‘n’ other acquired resources in your care. After this mess U put yourself into, do not go back to your vomit again. A word is enough for the wise!
I quite agree with joyce cos even many saying all manner of things would do worse if they where in her shoes. Let her nt just return the money but give list of all invloved in all shady deal.
