We broke the very sad news(Read Here) of the death of popular Nollywood Actor Muna Obiekwe. but we kept on receiving allegations that the news was
false and abricated well some hours back Mike Ezuruonye confirmed the news a while back. We have also received additional details on his sad demise, we gathered He died this afternoon around 4:15pm in a hospital in Lagos like we earlier reported after a battle with kidney failure. He was rushed to the hospital today after he collapsed at his home. Muna has been quietly battling this kidney disease but kept it hush hush from friends and colleagues. So Sad! A colleague said for over two weeks before he died didn’t go for his dialysis.
Muna needed money for his health problems but instead of going public to raise money, he told friends he was planning a stage play to raise money but died before he could do it. Unbelievably sad!
Meanwhile, there’s some twitter handle called @MunaObiekwe that’s denying his death. That is not Muna! Unfortunately the real one is gone. Unbelievable! RIP to a great actor!

It so true my friends, he is dead. I didn’t believe it myself until it was on air, wazobia aired it this morning to confirm by calling the actors guide chapter in lagos to confirm the so called rumor. But to our greatest surprise, he confirmed it was true, that muna is dead and that it came as a shock to them as well. Gone so soon, a cool guy and still young as well, may his gentle soul RIP. We love you, but God loves you most. Till we meet to part no more.
