The aircraft is said to have gone down behind the palace of the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu.

“It is true but NEMA has not receive distress alert from the chopper on its mission control centre yet,” Farinloye said.
“We have Maritime Distress Alert only about a ship around Warri in Delta State, rescue agencies are on their way to the scene,” he added.
The casualty figure was provided by the Nigerian Television Authority(NTA) via Twitter.

Its indeed a sad news, but your figure aren’t accurate, 6 are rescued and are receiving treatment now. 4 are at general hospital gbagada while 2 were @ afolabi hospital in oworo as at 8pm last night which am sure they wud have been moved to the general hospital too, bcos that was the plan. 4 confirmed dead, while 2 are missing. They are still on the search for them though. God help us.
